I've been working a damn long time on the server now, and finally I've finished all the quests / drops / bugs etc. but now, finally, we're proud to announce that we've got the server ready for BETA Phase #2, which will be just like the official release!

GaMmLeR will release the server's beta phase #2 on Friday (Today - 27/08/10) while I (DeathsEffigy) will not be around this weekend, which also is the reason why we will not launch official this weekend.

Give or take, have fun testing BETA Phase #2 and get yourself prepared for Official launch!

Okay everybody. We have been working straight on the server for the whole weekend, and the only thing left to do now are quests.

We have fixed FT, CSW, King System, Boss Drops, Exp Rates and much more! The Quests are done at like 70% (coded 1200 Lines of Quests last night). I hope I'll get to do the remaining quests tomorrow.
I'll keep you up to date!

we have now launched BETA. We're starting the server right now, all chars are wiped (accounts do still exist though!).

HAVE FUN TESTING!

Please report all bugs in the report bugs section!
All of you BETA Testers will be awarded with Knight Cash and the "BETA-Tester"-Forum Status.
Please, vote for our server every 12 hours (or at last once a day).
The Links can be found by logging in into the KOPanel, and then clicking Earn Vote Points, click all the links & submit your vote (with a valid CAPTCHA) to gain your Voting Points and help the server grow. Also, don't forget to advertise the server, tell all your friends about it!

Right now, I'm uploading our client (which will take me a few hours, as my network isn't that cool). So yeah, you can expect download links in the download section in approx. four hours. We will also be posting more ads and stuff shortly.

We're right now preparing the (hopefully) last things for the server, so that we can launch soon.

If all things go as we want them to, all features planned to be unlocked from start will be available, aswell as our anticheat will work. Tremble with us as we get the last steps done.

We are sorry for the downtime, that was caused by our hosting company. It forced us to keep off the root for quite a few days, so that we couldn't work on the server. We did also have a tiny data loss, which isn't really bad, though, as we've restored the data already.

We're doing good progress again, and are trying our best to get the server done.

We've re-edit lots of drops, and started working out some new scripts. Also, we do have the anticheat now (...according to GaMmLeR). However, We have ran into a few small problems when doing the last tiny bits of the server, that take us a while to fix as it's getting a bit more complicated than expected.

Anyways, you can expect further updates about BETA soon. Most likely we will be fixing the bugs soon, so that we can finally launch BETA. If we don't come to fix these bugs soon we shall remove the content from BETA and launch without them, so that we can work them out during BETA. We cannot say a certain date yet sadly, however, we're still doing very good process.

I guess the title speaks for itself, the alpha phase will soon be ending and we'll be launching open BETA.
We're going to create a topic at snoxd soon, and we're also going to keep you people viewing the Panel up to date. It might take up to three more days for me to get the server finished. Possibly, I will finish it tonight, I cannot guarantee that, though. So, let's see.

You do not have to sign up, yet, as I will be wiping all accounts and characters before launching BETA, so you'd have to register again, anyways. We're also going to mass-email all players from our old Server in order to get a decent amount of BETA-Testers.

We will give further information about BETA as soon as we launch it.

I have just finished the last updates for the panel, it is now as it will be used for Th3FellowShipKO. I might be doing further changes, however, they will not be very heavy.

So, what came with this update

• Clan Page was added

The only thing left to do now, is translating the Panel into several languages, as for now it does only support English. I shall translate it into German in near future. I'm looking for people that know other languages and are willing to help me out. If you are, then visit our forums and leave me (DeathsEffigy) a message.

So, as you see, the server Status finally is online. However, currently it is held in the alpha-status, which means that normal users are not able to connect yet.

Anyways, we will soon be launching BETA. During the last days I've been working straight on the server, just in order to get it ready for BETA as soon as possible, so that you people can test it!

While we're not online yet, I recommend checking the News from time to time in order to be up to date. But as promised, here comes the main-part of this article:
The Progress of TFSKO is quite far already. I'm doing daily patches for both, database and client, and fix up a lot of stuff. I have already fixed all spawns, items, monsters, exp-rates & panel features (with the exception of Character & Clan Page. They'll be added shortly, though.) I will do the drops within the next day(s) and fix up some files. Also, we will start coding the AntiCheat within the next week I suppose.
